From 60 km west, gathering runoff from the Eastern
Slopes of the Rockies at the Rae glacier , Elbow Lake and Piper
pass, the Elbow river arrives crystal clear and not too much abused
at the Springbank properties of Colpitts Ranches. We appreciate
her danger but celebrate her gift. The Elbow Valley defines our
landscape as we try to practice agriculture in recognition of the
importance of good water.
